President

I am a husband to my beautiful wife Jennifer, the father of two incredible daughters, one step-daughter and owner of a small financial planning and asset management firm in Bangor Maine. We also enjoy having our two great danes and chocolate lab as a part of the family.

For the last 15 year’s I have always been a part of the non-profit community in some capacity. I was the deacon in a church, a teacher of young married couples, a liaison for Outreach to Asian Nationals (OTAN) traveling to Nepal and the Philippines and member of the steering committee of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute (BRLI).

Having been in the military and being the son of a military father, I had the opportunity to travel to many incredible parts of the world. When I started working with OTAN I had the opportunity to experience the picturesque country of Nepal, I fell in love with the majestic terrain but my heart was drawn to the beauty of the people.

I’ve always believed in giving back and helping others. I am blessed to have experienced the wonderful gift of what it feels like to be a part of the non-profit community and this is why I felt the need to start High Elevation Lives Project (H.E.L.P. Missions). I am so excited about the prospects of seeing medical teams going to remote areas and help so many people.

I am a person that loves to get involved! I live in Newburgh, Maine with my 4 year old German Shepherd Jax and I love the outdoors, staying active and exploring new adventures.

At heart, I am a true entrepreneur. My main employment is with a medium sized software development company located in Boston Massachusetts and work as the company’s Operations Manager. Additionally, I am co-owner of an outdoor adventure E-commerce company.
I am a person who has always enjoyed giving back to those less fortunate than myself. However, my drive to make outreach a major part of my life started in 2012 when my mother Jeanette asked me to join her on a service trip to Guatemala to help build schools with a local non-profit. I was immediately hooked.
Since then, I have tallied up hundreds of community services hours at soup kitchens, humane societies, aiding the elderly and much more.

I am currently the Co-chair of Bangor’s largest non-profit sports league and sit on the steering committee for the areas Young Professionals organization.
Since 2008 I have been an active member of the Maine Army National Guard where I work as a Communications Officer. I have had the opportunity to lead complex exercises and missions to many different states.

When Steven came to me with the idea of H.E.L.P., I immediately said yes. I am extremely excited about the direction of this organization and encourage anyone who feels strongly about such a cause to join us on our next trip!
